  • This is an update for a litter born on June 25, 2008 to local owners in the Southside area. Breeders Matthew and Laura Noble have been taking these photos from around 3 weeks of age to current date. The litter included 10 puppies. The owners' female "Ellie" and male "Charlie" gave birth to 5 Red Merles, 2 Blue Merles, 2 Black Tris and 1 Red Tri. Listed with each photo are colorations and sex for each pup.

  • With the downturn in new construction, JEA has been able to devote more crews and resources to upgrading and maintaining the electrical network in existing neighborhoods. Southside crew #330 made up of: Noel Mixon, foreman; Bob Smith, lineman; Lance Castor, 3rd year apprentice lineman; Jim Brantley, 2nd year apprentice lineman have been replacing and upgrading some of the thirty-plus year old poles and wiring in Azalea Terrace. The four man crew with the aide of their pole setting and bucket trucks can install a new pole, replace the hardware, make all the connections and have the power back on in three to four hours. All of JEA’s maintenance planning and work go towards keeping the lights on with little or no interruption.

Puppies !!

  • Charlie, a Red Tri and Ellie, a Blue Merle both Australian Shepherds owned by Matt & Laura Noble, produced a litter of ten pups that are two and a half weeks old. The puppy’s eyes are just beginning to open and they can stand and take a few steps. A little help was needed to get them to hold still for the photos. The boys are on blue backgrounds and the girls on pink. Visit this gallery to see the family.

Jacksonville Symphony, Star Wars & More

Many fans showed up dressed as their favorite movie character from the many movie scores that he produced.
