The Bolles Bulldogs crossed the river to meet the First Coast Buccaneers for the Kickoff Classic game preparing both teams for the upcoming season. Each team was able to get most of their players in on at least a series on the wet field, giving the coaches an opportunity to evaluate players. First Coast came out the winner at the end of the varsity portion of the game with a final score of 19-16.

NFL Workshop for Women at Maggiano's St. Johns Town Center

The third in a series of NFL Workshops for Women took place Thursday evening, July 22, 2010 at the St. Johns Town Center Maggiano's restaurant. Over a hundred lucky ladies attending the sold-out event recieved workbooks, t-shirts and other goodies in addition to interactive instruction from players, coaches, referees and other subject matter experts. With assistance from event coordinators PRI Productions, there should be a higher quality of Monday morning quarterbacking available this season!

Heart & Sole 5K Run

This 5K run on a summer Saturday evening in San Marco was a benefit for Community PedsCare, a pediatric program of the Community Hospice of Northeast Florida. Other medical service providers participating included Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Nemours Children’s Clinic and University of Florida-Jacksonville. The start and finish was at Fletcher Park, where participants in the race or their fans enjoyed live entertainment, activities for families and food from area eateries. Unfortunately, the race was delayed by severe thunderstorms.

The Bulldogs are on their way to the Final Four in state high school lacrosse competition with a 15-4 victory over Tallahassee Lincoln on Friday, April 16, 2010 at Bolles. Bolles took an early lead and the Lincoln Trojans pulled within 3 in the second quarter, but the quicker Bulldogs move on to play Lake Highland Prep Friday April 23, 2010 at West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Florida.

On Saturday April 10, the fastest two men and women competed against the lineup of superstar swimmers during the JAX 50s main event. On April 11, the 12 guest swimmers hosted an Olympic Experience Clinic where they shared their experiences and techniques with local athletes.
